Captain Frederick Herbert Fardell MC

Born at Ryde, Isle of Wight on 12 November 1893. Commissioned from the Royal Military Academy, Woolwich into the Royal Horse and Royal Field Artillery on 19 December 1913. Served with the British Expeditionary Force in France and Flanders from 10 September 1914, his wartime service ending with 281st Brigade, Royal Field Artillery. He sailed for India in June 1923. Captain Frederick Herbert Fardell MC, 8th Lahore Mountain Battery, Royal Artillery, died of disease or illness at Mazai Fort on 21 September 1927.
